All Court Officials Were Fooled by Me Season 1
Gu Yan, a modern-day wedding emcee, unexpectedly travels back in time to the Great Zhou Dynasty and becomes an impoverished scholar in Qingxian County, so poor he can barely afford a meal. To make ends meet, he has no choice but to set up a fortune-telling stall on the street, relying on his silver tongue to fool passersby. Unexpectedly, his very first attempt at fortune-telling accidentally hits the mark in a murder case, making him famous overnight. The county magistrate mistakes him for a hidden master, wealthy merchants seek his advice on feng shui, constables ask for his help solving cases, and a talented courtesan cannot forget a single line of poetry he once recited. Gu Yan only wants to keep a low profile and make some money, yet through one coincidence after another, he keeps leaving behind 'immortal quotes' that scholars throughout the city endlessly analyze and interpret.
