Li Dao transmigrates into the heir of the Earl of Anyuan's residence in the Great Qian Dynasty. At a palace banquet, he unexpectedly becomes entangled with Princess Mingyue and is sentenced to the death row camp, where he is assigned the number 9527. At the brink of death, he awakens a system that rewards military merit, allowing him to temper his physique by killing enemies. After surviving against all odds and regaining his freedom, he heads to the frontier with his maid Jiu'er, subdues unruly soldiers and troublemakers, and forges them into the Futu Army. When the Northern Barbarians invade, he leads three hundred men on a surprise raid that burns their royal court and kills an enemy grandmaster, earning great renown.
