Lover Comes from Ten Years Later
When nineteen-year-old Ning Zhen is about to receive a confession from her first love, Shang Ye, she is interrupted by a man from ten years in the future: twenty-nine-year-old Shang Ye. He insists that Shang Ye's true love in the future is Su Ruanruan, not Ning Zhen, and is determined to break the two apart. Faced with interference from his future self, nineteen-year-old Shang Ye firmly chooses Ning Zhen. Deeply moved, Ning Zhen gives him three 'Make-Up Coupons' as tokens of trust, and they promise to fight fate together. But the prophecy comes true like a curse. Nineteen-year-old Shang Ye begins repeatedly 'having no choice' but to side with Su Ruanruan, breaking his promises again and again, then using the Make-Up Coupons to win Ning Zhen back. With every coupon he uses, Ning Zhen becomes a little more clear-eyed.
