Deer Love, Deep Bai Ze
In her previous life, Yunqi gouged out her heart to feed a fox, only to have the Nine-Tailed Mystic Fox repay her by tearing out her spiritual bones and destroying her sect. Reborn on the day she chooses her spirit beast at Medicine King Valley, she casts aside the red fox without a second thought and picks up a dying wild deer with broken antlers curled up at the bottom of a furnace. It is none other than Bai Ze, an ancient divine beast who failed his tribulation. Bound by a soul-sharing contract, they will settle the grudges of two lifetimes from the beginning. Together, they will forge a ninth-grade pill in the Alchemy Grand Competition and defeat the divine beast in the Ancient Forest of Ten Thousand Poisons. Bai Ze defies heaven, endures the heavenly lightning for her, and refuses ascension to the Divine Firmament. From the highest heavens to the deepest underworld, no one will ever separate them again.
