Lu Yanci returns from a business trip and catches his wife, Xu Manni, having an affair with her boss, Fu Yiheng. Even more shockingly, the child Xu Manni is carrying is not Fu Yiheng's. He joins forces with Su Wanning, Fu Yiheng's wife, who has also been betrayed, to set an elaborate trap. Their investigation eventually leads them to the mastermind behind everything: Su Wanning's stepfather, Lu Zhaoting. Carefully plotting each move and luring their enemy deeper into the trap, they record evidence of his murder crimes and ultimately send the treacherous villains to prison.
