Haoyu deeply loves his girlfriend Xiaolin, but tragically dies in a car crash on his way to buy her a birthday present. After passing away, Haoyu turns into a spirit and stays by Xiaolin's side. He can only silently follow behind her when she walks home late, and when she stares blankly into the empty room, he tries to touch her only to slip right through her fingertips. This guardianship that transcends life and death holds unspoken love and heartbreak, gently guiding Xiaolin over time to realize that his ordinary daily presence had always been the most cherished gift of her life. Intertwining grief and warmth, this story inspires a profound appreciation for love and a deep reflection on the true meaning of life.
