Ancestor, Please Show Some Self-Control: I Am Just a Good-For-Nothing Disciple
Lionel is invincible in the world yet terrified of death, wishing only to lay low on Crescent Moon Mountain. Right at the start of a heavenly tribulation, he seals the stray Cecilia into the River and Mountain Painting, acquiring a "pendant" from then on. His fiancée brings people up the mountain to call off the engagement, berates him as good-for-nothing, and knocks over the soul-nourishing pill he gifted. A black cat licks the pill and takes human form, the medical immortal bows on his knees, and the beast ancestor acknowledges him as master, yet all of Nanzhou still treats him as someone easy to bully, until the Demon God descends, seeking to cut off his path to ascension. With no other choice, he can only draw his sword, slaying the Demon God with a single sword strike. The entire sect kneels on the ground.
