Tour guide Xu Datong and college student Lin Jing accidentally fall into a savage otherworld, a continent with almost no men and an extremely perilous living environment. The two rescue a group of women from a primitive tribe and, relying on modern survival knowledge, tools, and sparks of fire, lead the tribe to fight against beasts, boar-men, gray-skinned savages, and other threats. They master smelting and forging, build shelters, develop hunting and livestock farming, and befriend strange creatures like giant elephant herds and braised-egg dwarfs. Gradually establishing his own power, Xu Datong fends off external enemies while forging bonds with tribal women, struggling to carve out a new civilized home across a continent teeming with magical lakes and miraculous species.
