Captured and brought back to the royal palace by her former husband, Chang Nian expects the worst. Instead, she finds a table overflowing with precious jewels. Invece, ad aspettarla trova un tavolo pieno di gioielli preziosi. «Tra me e questi gioielli, chi scegli?» Quando lei si lamenta perché i gioielli sono brutti, lui ordina immediatamente di sostituirli. E quando lei sbatte una mano sul tavolo, lui si inginocchia addirittura sul posto! Davanti agli altri, Chen Ping è l'imponente e autorevole Principe di Yong.
