Starting from the elevator accident at Anhe Jiayuan in Linzhou City, the story focuses on corruption in the bidding field. Li Zhengyang, director of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, leads his team with the help of technical staff to dig deeper along the clues of the accident. Engineer Zhao, a family member of the severely injured girl and a bid evaluation expert, takes the initiative to become an undercover informant for the Commission. Using camera glasses, he captures crucial evidence of evaluation expert Engineer Wang taking bribes and colluding in evaluations within a group chat using riddles like "pump" to represent project stages. As the investigation deepens, the Commission uncovers the truth behind bid evaluation team leader Lao Zhou colluding with business owner Ma Dacheng and the tendering party to build an illicit chain of interests: "enterprises bribe, experts collude, tendering party approves".
