After the Divorce, the Whole Family Regretted It
Four years ago, Yu Feng's younger brother-in-law was admitted to university. To make money, her husband went to a big city alone to work, while she stayed in her hometown to take care of her sickly and frail mother-in-law. In the restaurant back kitchen, Yu Feng squatted by the sink scrubbing dishes, her hands soaked white. In the rain, Yu Feng wore a raincoat and rode a bike to deliver food, rainwater streaming down the brim of her hat all over her face, blurring her vision. Yu Feng worked multiple jobs a day to subsidize the family expenses, and apart from the Chinese New Year of the first year, we haven't seen each other for almost three years. Never did she expect that the husband she hadn't seen for a long time was actually fooling around with another woman.
