Urban designer Lin Yi suddenly faces layoff and returns to the increasingly declining Zhuxi Village. Witnessing intangible cultural heritage bamboo weaving nearing extinction, he shoulders parental opposition and villagers' criticism, and apprenticed to an old artisan to devoutly practice bamboo-weaving arts. On the path of entrepreneurship, he repeatedly encounters malicious framing by Uncle Li, raw material supply cuts, and finished products being destroyed, with difficulties coming one after another. Lin Yi rises to the challenge, reconstructing traditional bamboo weaving with modern design, breaking through against the wind all the way, taking the lead in setting up a rural cooperative, activating local industries, attracting wanderers to return home, and making the long-silent bamboo weaving intangible heritage glow with brilliance once again.

Le designer urbain Lin Yi fait soudainement face à un licenciement et retourne dans le village de Zhuxi, en déclin progressif. Témoin de la vannerie en bambou, un patrimoine culturel immatériel proche de l'extinction, il assume l'opposition de ses parents et les critiques des villageois, et devient l'apprenti d'un vieil artisan pour étudier assidûment l'art du tressage. Sur le chemin de l'entrepreneuriat, il subit à plusieurs reprises les pièges malveillants de l'oncle Li, des ruptures d'approvisionnement en matières premières et la destruction de produits finis, les difficultés s'enchaînant les unes après les autres. Lin Yi relève le défi, reconstruit la vannerie traditionnelle en bambou avec un design moderne, perce à travers le vent contraire, prend la tête de la mise en place d'une coopérative rurale, active l'industrie locale, attire les exilés de retour au pays, et fait resplendir à nouveau ce patrimoine immatériel si longtemps silencieux.
