Iron Wok Fried Rice: After Leaving With Nothing, I Became Famous Across the City
On the night her daughter develops a dangerously high fever, Lin Wan is forced by her husband, Lu Xiao, to sign divorce papers and leave with nothing, taking only an old iron wok left by her grandmother. She teams up with Gu Ye, a sharp-tongued man with a soft heart, to run a street stall and revive the fried rice skills her grandmother taught her. From being ignored by everyone to drawing long queues of hungry customers, she builds her business from scratch. Her ex-husband tries to stop their daughter from enrolling in kindergarten and hires online trolls to ruin her reputation, but Lin Wan withstands every setback. Determined to cook every dish fresh and never shortchange her customers, she eventually opens Lin's Fried Rice in a cultural tourism district. Gu Ye, who has supported her throughout the journey, also becomes a family member whom both Lin Wan and her daughter are willing to accept.
