Iron Flowers Walk Down From the Wall
After graduating in sculpture, Tie Xiaosheng returns to Wuhu, wanting to turn traditional iron paintings into large-scale installation art, letting iron paintings move from walls into space. Facing Master Tie's persistence in traditional painterly conception, he starts by learning forging, welding, and polishing, understanding the relationship between void and solidity and the foundation of the craft through repeated trial production. He guards tradition to complete the new installation, and expands communication through animated shorts and experiential tours. Master Tie finally officially takes him as a disciple. Everyone pools their efforts to build the Iron Painting Cultural Center, carrying out experiences and live streaming. In the end, Tie Xiaosheng takes over the old iron hammer, letting iron paintings continue to be inherited in new expressions and walk towards the distance.
