Begonia Flowers Wither in the Sea of the Seventh Year
Seven years ago, Yu Xitang was forced away by her prospective mother-in-law under the pretext of saving the company, and she gave birth to their son, Xiaowang, alone. After her husband, Pei Shuoting, found her back, he mistook her for being greedy for money. When Xiaowang was critically ill, Yu Xitang made forty-seven phone calls for help, but Pei Shuoting was busy accompanying the Best Actress Yu Mingshu to bid on a ten-million-dollar necklace, ultimately leading to the child's death from illness. In despair, Yu Xitang hugged the child's remains and threw herself into the sea. Only then did Pei Shuoting learn the truth from medical records, mementos, and recordings, personally sending Yu Mingshu to prison while never being able to wait for Yu Xitang to return. Rescued by fishermen and suffering from amnesia, Yu Xitang returned to the Pei Group under the alias Lin Tang. After regaining her memory, she handed over divorce papers and started a flower shop alone to gain a new lease on life, whereas Pei Shuoting could only repay the rest of his life in the name of the child.
