Taking Command: Old Madam Zhang's Rebirth Record - Season 5
Zhang Guiying, who in her previous life was paralyzed in her later years and died in a fire because her children neglected their filial duties, unexpectedly gets a second chance at life. She first saves her husband from an impending factory accident, then establishes clear boundaries within the family, stops her sons and daughters-in-law from making unreasonable demands, exposes Song Mingyu's schemes and Yu Cheng's lies, and stands up for her mistreated daughter. Drawing on her family's traditional braised-meat recipe, she starts a street stall, builds her wealth through hard work, and seizes the right opportunity to invest in property. She lays down family rules, refuses to provide endless financial support, and lovingly protects her sensible youngest daughter. At last, she leaves behind a lifetime of silent endurance and grievances and begins living for herself.
