At Fifty: I, the One Looked Down On, Turn the Tide Through Scrap Recycling
Chang Dafa, a sanitation worker in his fifties, travels into the city on Lunar New Year's Eve to visit his son. Uncomfortable with their differing family values, he leaves on his own. By chance, he awakens an ability to accurately assess the value of discarded materials and starts from scratch in the recycling business, remaining committed to lawful operations while responding rationally to competition and misunderstandings from his peers. He gradually consolidates resources, builds a formal recycling supply chain, and establishes a green circular industrial park. Younger people who once went astray come to their senses and begin working diligently. Ultimately, Chang Dafa's business flourishes. He leads his fellow villagers toward prosperity through hard work and stable employment, becomes a local model of compliant business practices, and forges an honorable path to wealth.
