At the Wedding, The Ex Begged Me in Tears to Take Her Back
Zhou Fang and his fiancée, Xu Wei, had been in love for seven years, but he was betrayed on the eve of their wedding during a wild pre-wedding celebration. Xu Wei and Zhou Fang's close friend, Yi Feng, made an absurd bet over a candy-guessing game. Xu Wei deliberately let Yi Feng win, allowing him to make the unreasonable demand that the wedding be postponed for three years. Faced with Xu Wei's brazen arrogance and Yi Feng's declaration that he would steal his beloved away, Zhou Fang challenged them to one final bet involving an empty dice cup. The gamble revealed just how shamelessly Xu Wei favored Yi Feng, finally extinguishing Zhou Fang's feelings for their seven-year relationship. Meanwhile, Shen Mingyu, who had quietly waited for Zhou Fang for seven years, decisively stepped in when he was at his lowest. She broke the awkward tension with a birthday cake and proposed a marriage contract to take place three days later.
