At Two in the Morning, She Rang My Doorbell Again
Gu Yanchuan, a teacher who has just moved into a new home, catches the attention of Xu Meiqin, a mother living next door who has her eyes on his property. After her offer, far below market value, is rejected, she starts ringing his doorbell late every night, claiming she has forgotten her access card when she actually wants to wear him down with relentless harassment until he sells the house cheaply. Neither communication nor intervention from property management helps. His daughter is kept awake by the doorbell, while Xu Meiqin twists the facts online to spread rumors and smear his reputation. She even threatens his job and family, demanding that he sell the house at half price. Gu Yanchuan refuses to fight fire with fire.
