Crossing Between Ancient and Modern Times, I Raised a Generation's Chief Minister
Su Jin is a modern-day university student whose graduation thesis is to prove the existence of the Great Yue Dynasty and establish five thousand years of Chinese history. Faced with an extraordinarily difficult topic, her only clue is an old, worn-out scroll given to her by her advisor. To her surprise, she discovers that this very scroll is the key to reaching the Great Yue Dynasty. In the Great Yue Dynasty, Shen Yubai suffers from pulmonary tuberculosis and is so ill that he nearly coughs himself to death. His father died early, leaving him and his widowed mother to endure bullying and humiliation from their clan. Although Shen Yubai desperately wants to protect his mother and himself, his frail, seriously ill body holds him back. Years of being confined to bed have made him gloomy and withdrawn. Then, one day, the scroll left behind by his father suddenly begins to glow.
