I Hit a Lawyer, and He Insists I Take Responsibility
Jiang Zhi, a nurse, never imagined that an unexpected accident would entangle her with Fu Sinian, a lawyer. Feeling guilty, she takes him to the hospital, hoping he'll be safe and that the incident can quietly be put behind them. Unfortunately, this injured man has a sharp eye and speaks with such composure that he can always detect the flaws in her explanations. He temporarily refrains from pursuing the matter, but asks her to deliver fried chicken, buy him a phone, and pick up his computer, repeatedly emphasizing that they will settle the score over the accident sooner or later. After finishing her night shift, Jiang Zhi rushes around running errands for him. She complains constantly, yet gradually begins to worry about his injuries. Through repeated tests and acts of care, the distance between them quietly begins to shrink.

Jiang Zhi, una enfermera, nunca imaginó que un accidente haría que acabara enredada con Fu Sinian, un abogado. Avergonzada por lo ocurrido, lo lleva al hospital con la esperanza de que esté bien y de que el asunto pueda quedar olvidado discretamente. Sin embargo, el herido tiene una mirada perspicaz y habla con tanta serenidad que siempre detecta las inconsistencias en sus explicaciones. Por el momento, no le exige responsabilidades, pero le pide que le lleve pollo frito, le compre un móvil y recoja su ordenador. Además, insiste una y otra vez en que tarde o temprano tendrán que ajustar cuentas por el accidente. Tras terminar su turno de noche, Jiang Zhi vuelve a estar ocupada haciendo recados para él. Aunque no deja de quejarse, poco a poco empieza a preocuparse por sus heridas. Entre tanteos y cuidados constantes, la distancia entre ambos se reduce silenciosamente.
