Waiting for You, the Victorious Return, to Fulfill the Marriage Engagement
The Zhenguo General Ling Yun sets out on an expedition to the northern frontier, and on the eve of his departure, he makes an agreement with Princess Yongle to marry upon his triumphant return. Just as the imperial decree is being proclaimed, a narrowly surviving Ling Yun suddenly returns. Having weathered court suspicions, rumors, and the reigniting of war at the border, Ling Yun lets go of the paranoia and insecurity brought by the battlefield, while Yongle steadfastly holds to her original heart; together they break through wave after wave of obstacles and finally get married in fulfillment.
