Crossing Distant Passes and Mountains to My Home
Li Taozhi, the legitimate eldest daughter of the Prime Minister, is most skilled at seeking benefit and avoiding harm, and stepping away from disputes whenever troubles arise. In the capital, two princes show her favor repeatedly, but she chances upon learning that their regard has another purpose. So she devises a clever plan, bids farewell to the prosperous capital, and travels to the frontier lands. In the vast Northwest, she learns martial arts, aids the weak, befriends many good souls, and begins a new life of freedom. The former princes come seeking her, hoping she will return to the capital. Yet Li Taozhi holds fast to her true self, refusing to be bound by worldly status, and bravely lives a life all her own — wherever the heart finds peace, there is my home.
