Educated youth Xia Shu gets a second chance at life, returning to the 1970s just one day before a devastating rumor spreads. In her previous life, Chen Wentao and Ruan Tian were caught meeting secretly in the paddy fields, but Chen blurted out Xia Shu's name instead. That false accusation left her defenseless, and she ended up losing her life while seeking justice. This time, she refuses to explain, argue, or beg for anyone's belief. Instead, under cover of darkness, she takes away the clothes left by the haystack, then gathers witnesses and the gaze of the entire village to drag both culprits into the light of day. She will reclaim her innocence herself, put an end to being pushed around, seize the opportunity to return to the city, and break free from the path others tried to arrange for her.
