Back to the Sixties: Relying on the Deep Mountains to Feed the Whole Family
Chen An is reborn in the 1960s, returning to the blizzard night when he violated his childhood sweetheart, Su Wan. Determined to atone for his sins from his previous life, he stops the desperate Su Wan, kneels before her, and swears an oath. She gives him an almost impossible condition: repay every debt and bring back an entire wolf pelt. Braving the snowstorm that very night, he ventures deep into the mountains and hunts down a hundred-jin wolf king, shocking the entire village. From then on, he draws on his previous life's hunting experience to repeatedly bring home game from the vast forests and snowy wilderness. He not only provides food for his own family and the Su sisters but also saves Accountant Li, who is on the verge of suicide after misappropriating public funds. Using Li's connections at the county supply and marketing cooperative, he turns wild game into money and obtains the grain and cooking oil needed to save their lives.
