After five-year-old orphan Su Xiaoqi is brought back by the wealthy Su family, she suffers false accusations and abuse. Fleeing into a stormy night, she is taken in by seven street youths with bleached hair. Though impoverished, the seven pool everything they have to raise Xiaoqi, and upon discovering her talent for dance, they scrape together every penny to fund her training. Xiaoqi makes a stunning turnaround, winning gold in both district and provincial competitions and earning special admission to the Xingchen Art Academy. Along the way, the seven each build successful ventures, and the Su family's adopted daughter, Su Qing, leaves the cold wealthy family to join this warm household. In the end, all eight take a family portrait, defining the true meaning of home.
