Set in a modern urban family, the drama revolves around the tense relationship between a pregnant daughter-in-law, a domineering mother-in-law, and a husband caught between the two. Using pregnancy care as an excuse, the mother-in-law moves into their home and forcibly interferes with her daughter-in-law's diet, daily routine, and lifestyle under the pretext of doing what is best for the baby. She stubbornly clings to outdated beliefs about pregnancy and childbirth, even searching for folk remedies to ensure the baby will be a boy. Initially, the daughter-in-law silently endures and gives in, while her husband constantly tries to keep the peace and avoids confronting the problem, allowing the rift between the two women to deepen. When the mother-in-law forces her daughter-in-law to drink an unknown herbal remedy supposedly meant to protect the pregnancy, nearly endangering the unborn child, it becomes the breaking point. Heartbroken and disillusioned, the daughter-in-law decides to move out.

Ambientada en una familia urbana moderna, la historia gira en torno a la complicada relación entre una nuera embarazada, una suegra dominante y un marido atrapado entre ambas. Con la excusa de cuidar de su nuera durante el embarazo, la suegra se muda a su casa e interfiere por la fuerza en su alimentación, sus horarios y su vida cotidiana, bajo el pretexto de que todo es 'por el bien del bebé'. Se aferra a antiguas creencias sobre el embarazo y el parto, e incluso busca remedios populares para conseguir que el bebé sea un niño. Al principio, la nuera aguanta en silencio y cede, mientras que su marido intenta constantemente contentar a ambas partes y evita afrontar los problemas. Como consecuencia, la distancia entre suegra y nuera no deja de aumentar.
