Three years ago, an unknown higher civilization turned Earth into a colosseum for all living things. At first, they only released ancient predators long extinct on Earth. Those beasts were vulnerable against humanity's mechanized legions, but humans gradually discovered a despairing rule: every time a species was wiped out, an even stronger beast descended to take its place. Eventually, mythical entities capable of destroying nations appeared. From that moment on, the rules of survival were rewritten: all creatures are pawns, the earth is the arena; the victors survive, while the losers bite the dust.
