Shen Xiulan built her wealth from scratch and bought a luxury flat in full for her son Zhou Cheng, yet deliberately concealed her billionaire status to run a modest hardware store. After her daughter-in-law Lin Yuting becomes pregnant, her in-law Zhao Meiqin moves in with her son Lin Hao, scheming step by step and instigating Zhou Cheng to change the locks and drive Shen Xiulan out of her own home. Heartbroken, Shen Xiulan does not make a scene, but secretly gathers audio recordings and evidence, quietly waiting for their greed to be fully exposed. At a matchmaking banquet where the Lin family tries to use the luxury flat to show off, she presents the property deed and evidence to reclaim her home legally. Zhou Cheng and his in-laws are forced to move out, while Shen Xiulan refuses to compromise any longer, defending her bottom line and dignity.
