Modern best friends Xia Xiaoqi and Qiao Ran accidentally transmigrate back to a rural village in 1978, ending up as sisters-in-law married to two brothers of the Lu family. Facing mother-in-law friction, demanding relatives, and neighborhood gossip, the duo join forces: knitting hats to sell at street stalls, backing each other up, and turning chaotic days into laughter. Meanwhile, their initially distant husbands—an army officer and a high school teacher—gradually lose their hearts to them. Two best friends and two couples kick off a lively, bustling new life filled with laughter and romance.
