Grace Martin, a fifty-year-old supermarket cashier, meets wheelchair-bound Raymond Delaunay on a blind date. Claiming to be homeless and without a pension, he quickly wins her hand in marriage. Soon after, Grace faces mockery from old classmates, scheming from her ex-husband, and humiliation from her new in-laws. Raymond secretly resolves every crisis through his connections until his true identity is dramatically revealed across luxury hotels, private estates, and high school reunions—he is actually a multi-billionaire corporate titan. Heartbroken and unable to tolerate the deception, Grace files for divorce. Can their midlife romance survive the web of lies it was built upon?
