One Tank of Wrong Fuel, I Took Down the Corrupt Fuel Network
Chen Lan, who has worked as a used-car appraiser for eight years, accidentally fills her car with the wrong fuel at a gas station. Instead of resolving the issue, the station manager edits a video to launch an online smear campaign against her. As Chen Lan gathers clues, she discovers that the station has been selling substandard fuel for years. The operators do everything they can to obstruct inspections, repeatedly retaliate against her, apply pressure, and threaten witnesses. She joins forces with numerous affected car owners to obtain authoritative test results, compiles all the evidence, and hands it over to the police. Everyone involved is punished, and the gas station is permanently shut down. After the controversy subsides, her business gains a much better reputation, all compensation money from the rights-protection case is donated, and she remains committed to helping ordinary people defend their consumer rights.
