One Truck of Peaches, Three Prices
At dawn in the fruit wholesale market, a truck of 186 baskets of peaches had just arrived when the boss, Song Guoliang, demanded that the sorter, Su Rui, bear a 2,800-yuan loss due to bruising on some peaches. Facing the sudden responsibility dispute, Su Rui clarified the facts through the delivery records provided by the driver, Wei Cheng, and proposed pricing and selling the peaches in three tiers according to their quality. Song Guoliang insisted on a uniform price, believing that sorting would only hurt business. As fruit shop owner Tang Min successfully test-sold them, the three-tier sales gradually showed their advantages. However, mixed-packing problems and market price changes occurred successively, and Su Rui flexibly adjusted the sales method with professional judgment.
