Because of One Meal, I Was Slapped Across the Face
Head chef Su Mu is slapped and fired by the owner's nephew and newly appointed manager, Li Xiong, for serving a dish to his parents. He is also falsely accused of stealing privately stored kitchen utensils. Li Xiong forcibly takes Su Mu's place to prepare the restaurant's signature dish, but accidentally uses a highly poisonous ingredient, causing mass food poisoning. With no other choice, the hotel owner turns to Su Mu for help. Seizing the opportunity, Su Mu negotiates a 20% stake in the hotel and ultimately resolves the crisis, while those responsible for the wrongdoing suffer the consequences of their own actions.
