Li Li and Lu Shiyu embark on a wedding trip through Northwest China. Along the way, her husband, her biological brother, and her childhood sweetheart all favor their mutual friend, Jiang Xin, and collectively force Li Li out of the car. Li Li immediately decides to divorce, but a sandstorm strikes during the journey, and she unexpectedly suffers a miscarriage. Lu Shiyu mistakenly believes she is using the incident to test him and chooses to abandon her.
