The parents of the Lu family travel abroad on business just as real heiress Lu Tangtang is welcomed back. They leave her and fake heiress Lu Wanwan, along with their living allowance, in the care of their unreliable older brother, Lu Jingheng. Unexpectedly, he comes up with wild excuses about foreign exchange rates to trick his little sisters and squanders all their living expenses. Knowing nothing of the truth, the two young girls dutifully learn self-reliance—growing vegetables, collecting recyclables, and nibbling on sweet potatoes to scrape by. But secrets never stay buried, and their parents return early to find their home in an outrageous state. A massive reckoning unfolds, plunging the trouble-making brother into the ultimate test of his life, while starting an endearing journey of growth and transformation alongside his sisters.
