Freshman biology student Lin Chong discovers rare blue-banded bees in the wasteland behind her university, but the habitat is slated to become a parking lot. Rallying her friends, she sets out to build insect hotels and a pollinator garden using reclaimed materials to protect these tiny creatures. Confronted by skepticism from the school, torrential rains, and initial public indifference, the team perseveres under the guidance of veteran gardener Uncle Hua. By gathering ecological data and gaining momentum through short videos, they transform student ridicule into widespread community support, turning the wasteland into the thriving "Bug Whisper Ecological Ark." As the blue-banded bees return, a campus ecological conservation project takes root, passing on the conviction to protect tiny lives from generation to generation.
