In the era of high martial prowess, transmigrator Su Mo searches desperately for the host of a system for 83 days, finally encountering the campus belle Mu Nianxue at a foot massage parlor. Absurdly, the "Build a Martial God From Scratch System" binds to the wrong person. Mu Nianxue completes the missions, but all the rewards go to Su Mo. To seize his chance to rise to greatness, Su Mo hires Mu Nianxue at a high salary and keeps her by his side, progressing from having her write exam papers for him to awakening martial patterns and eventually entering Canglong Academy. Through constant bickering and fighting side by side, the two grow together, shatter the Liu family's conspiracy, battle fiercely in the Demon Cave, defend against waves of beasts to the death, and join forces to face the nine-star genius Long Yuan. While everyone believes Su Mo is the peerless Martial God, the girl he has been "raising" has quietly reached the pinnacle as well.
