By the Magpie Bridge, Old Vows Traded for a Good Match
On the day of getting their marriage certificate, according to hometown custom, the groom must carry the bride across the Magpie Bridge. Zhou Miaomiao's fiancé Xie Jinghan was stopped by his childhood friend Su Yun for the third time—he left his bride behind, carried a sprained Su Yun on his back, and let her be publicly humiliated, stepped on the face, exposed for being unable to bear children, and whipped on the street by his mother. It turned out that three years ago, when she had an ectopic pregnancy, Xie Jinghan only cared about accompanying Su Yun, causing her fallopian tubes to be removed. Having suffered all kinds of humiliation, Miaomiao sent a message to the person she had blocked ten years ago. Xu Yanli, chairman of the Xu family, arrived by yacht, publicly exposing that Su Yun was carrying someone else's child and that the Xie family owed 900 million, collecting the debt on the spot and driving the Xie family to bankruptcy.
