Falling into the Sea, Picking Up a Baby Carp
Young fisherman Lu Chao was plotted against by his uncle Lu Hu and fell into the waves. When he woke up, he was saved by a little girl named Zhuzhu. Zhuzhu spat out a dragon pearl to save him, and also decided that he was her daddy. Lu Chao brought this mysteriously-origin child home, picking sea urchins and searching for sea pearls from the receding tide reef beach, relying on his ability to keep his father's left boat and fishing ground. Along the way, he and Zhuzhu rescued the trapped Shen Zhixia, joining hands to fight against property grabbers and sea villains, and treating each other as real family in one perilous situation after another. Lu Chao and Zhixia finally got married, but Zhuzhu still slept in the pond. Grandpa Turtle appeared to wake her up, the red koi turned into a little blessing child, and finally shouted "Daddy, Mom".
