Cang Yan Emerges Into the World
Cang Yan was born nurtured by a spiritual stone, and traveled far overseas to study under a master and seek the Dao. After creating a great uproar in the Heavenly Palace, he escorted Qing Xuan to embark on the journey of traveling west to fetch scriptures. Having gone through eighty-one trials, he finally attained enlightenment and achieved the right fruit. Every tribulation is a practice of the inner heart. The so-called subduing demons and eliminating monsters is essentially conquering one's own delusional thoughts; the demons and monsters in the story are all illusions transformed from human obsessions. Traveling west to fetch scriptures is not about seeking true scriptures from the outside, but a practice of searching for one's original mind. The story borrows myths and legends of gods and demons to tell the truth of cultivating the mind and growing.

Cang Yan est né, nourri par une pierre spirituelle, et a voyagé loin outre-mer pour étudier auprès d'un maître et chercher le Dao. Après avoir fait un grand vacarme dans le Palais Céleste, il a escorté Qing Xuan pour entreprendre le voyage vers l'ouest afin de chercher des écritures, traversant quatre-vingt-onze épreuves, et a finalement atteint l'illumination et le fruit juste. Chaque tribulation est une pratique du cœur intérieur. Le fait de trancher les démons et d'éliminer les monstres est par essence la soumission de ses propres pensées illusoires ; les démons et les monstres de l'histoire sont tous des illusions transformées à partir des obsessions humaines. Aller vers l'ouest chercher des écritures, ce n'est pas aller chercher de vrais textes à l'extérieur, mais une quête pour chercher l'esprit originel.
