The little fox spirit Zhiyao is tricked by her manager and reverts to her original white fox form. While escaping, she is discovered and taken in by Pei Chi Yao, a top celebrity actor. Pei Chi Yao has always suffered from severe allergies to animal fur, yet strangely, he has no reaction to her whatsoever, so he decides to keep her by his side and care for her attentively. He discovers that Zhiyao's ability to transform into a human is closely connected to the spiritual energy of the jade pendant she carries. He therefore collects large quantities of jade artifacts to help her maintain her human form and even strongly recommends her for the female lead role in The Legend of the Fox Demon. Protecting her every step of the way, the two gradually fall in love, leading to an indulgent and heartwarming romance.
