Li Ping'an, the reincarnation of the Celestial Master, descends into the mortal world and stumbles into a ruined temple, crossing paths with Daoist Master Li Xuanfeng—a hidden master who prefers to slack off and drink fine wine. Soon after, the sharp-tongued foodie Xiaohua and the innocent, loyal young zombie Xiaojiang appear. Meanwhile, Li Hu'er, descendant of Qingqiu, circles the group in search of the Qingqiu Shard. Together, the five form an unlikely alliance. When they discover that the shard—crucial for sealing the Demon Lord—is hidden inside Xiaojiang, the Demon Lord dispatches relentless minions to snatch it away. Evading demonic pursuit while searching for the remaining two shards, the quirky team encounters various monsters and endures countless hilarious mishaps along their journey.
