Ashes Like Makeup
Shen Ruzhuang, the legitimate daughter of the Shen family, lost her mother at the age of three. Under her stepmother's more than a decade of so-called doting affection, she was raised into an arrogant, wicked young woman despised by everyone in the capital. It was only when her fiancé came to break off their engagement and her stepsister put on the magnificent wedding dowry that should have been hers that she finally awakened from her delusion while locked in a dark room. The seemingly gentle indulgence was actually a trap of 'spoiling her to ruin her,' deliberately devised by her stepmother with her father's tacit approval! Finally seeing the truth, she escaped through a great fire, assumed a new identity as a lowly horse trainer, and infiltrated the Bai household. Once a foolish puppet on a string, she has now become a clear-minded strategist pulling the strings from behind the scenes. Everything they owe her, she will reclaim through the hands of others, with interest, every last bit!
