Braised food master Chen Jiang and his wife spent eleven years taking meticulous care of his master, Gu Changgen, advancing over 600,000 yuan in medical expenses. When the old street was demolished, Gu Changgen distributed all 2.8 million yuan of compensation to his three wealthy but unfilial sons. Gu Changgen even inverted right and wrong, leaving Chen Jiang no choice but to send him back to the old house. Humiliated and furious, the three Gu brothers maliciously reported Chen Jiang to ruin his business and falsely accused him of betraying his master at the industry convention. Chen Jiang presented receipts, recordings, and all other evidence to prove his innocence in public. The Chamber of Commerce made a fair ruling, and the Gu family father and sons were disciplined by the industry. Six months later, Chen Jiang used shares left by his father to open a new shop, 'Chen's Braised Food', upholding the integrity of a master craftsman.
