To satisfy his late-night cravings, the foodie D-list star Lin Mo uses getting back together as an excuse to date his ex-girlfriend, Best Actress Shen Ruoxi. After gorging on her secret spicy crayfish for seven straight days, he ruthlessly dumps her, unexpectedly blowing up the trending searches across the internet. Shen Ruoxi goes live to vent about her ex, which inadvertently leads to them both joining the reality dating show "Heartbeat Wok." On the show, Lin Mo cooks garlic crayfish himself to win a seafood feast, revealing his true feelings with hands covered in cuts. Declaring on air that he only eats crayfish made by her, he finally melts the icy Best Actress with his earnest affection, turning from the infamous "Crayfish Bro" into a devoted lover and beginning a strictly managed yet sweet new life.
