Flame City: Inspecting True and False Heirs
Shen Xing has been scraping by in a auto repair shop for eighteen years, until a technical drawing links her to the Huo Manufacturing Group: she is the long-lost biological daughter of the Huo family. Returning home brings no silks and satins, only hands full of engine oil and a tough-as-nails bone structure. Faced with the nanny swapping the formula, the impostor stealing technical achievements, and the guild monopoly blockading sales channels, she relies not on the Huo family halo, but on the mechanical eyesight and hand skills honed from repairing cars, time and again publicly exposing and counterattacking on the spot. In the end, she does not inherit the group, but instead takes the Huo family's technical chassis, pulling together an R&D team composed of grassroots mechanics—making the technology that bars the monopolists outside the door available to the whole world.
