Clearing My Name, Fighting Back: I Did Nothing Wrong
Zhang Yi, a female piano tutor with androgynous features, is falsely accused of raping Li Xiaoya, the daughter of her downstairs neighbor Wang Guifen, who demands two million yuan in compensation. Faced with a storm of online abuse and public condemnation, Zhang refuses to give in. With the help of her friend Zhou Yue, she presents an airtight chain of evidence in court and exposes the false testimony with a single sentence: “I'm a woman.” The case unexpectedly leads to a large criminal gang behind plaintiff's lawyer Chen Wei, which specializes in extorting women who live alone. After enduring a series of threats and acts of retaliation from the gang, Zhang refuses to back down. Instead, she deliberately uses herself as bait and cooperates with the police in a plan to draw the criminals out. In the end, they successfully capture the mastermind, Ke Zhendong, and his entire gang.
