The Guixu Leyline has been severed for three hundred years, leaving Lichuan of the Lower Domain parched and barren. Qi Wujian, a Leyline Seeker from Tinglan Academy, is ordered to seal the leyline, only to be confronted by Yan Cige, a Leyline Gatherer who shatters the formation. Moving from adversaries to allies, the two plummet into the Bell Corridor, discovering from forbidden annals that the Tianheng Lock once severed the Guixu Leyline and sacrificed Lichuan. Sang Wuyu, Keeper of the Annals, admits to past sins yet insists on maintaining the seal. Armed with the seed of Astral Sand, Qi Wujian and Yan Cige journey to Guixu Terrace to resonate the Lanxi Art with the Twelve Forms of Armistice, successfully reconnecting half of the leyline and channeling spiritual springwaters into Lichuan. However, a mysterious voice emerges from the cracks of the outer ring, revealing that Qi Wujian is the lock, Yan Cige is the bridge, and the second gate has opened—leaving the truth of the Order Ring and their ultimate destinies hanging in the balance.
