Fight Noise with Noise, the Gentle Echo of Rock
Shen Yu'an lives with her daughter, who wears a cochlear implant. They have long suffered relentless harassment and verbal abuse from a neighbor downstairs, while repeated complaints have failed to get the property management to take proper action. To protect her daughter, she rents out her apartment to a rock band, making the neighbor experience the very noise that has been troubling them. At the same time, she exposes shortcomings in the property management's financial records and pushes for improvements in their services. In the end, the residential community establishes a mutual-help system among neighbors, completely transforming the atmosphere. Shen Yu'an finally creates a safe and peaceful environment where her daughter can grow up without fear.

Shen Yu'an vive con sua figlia, che indossa un impianto cocleare. Da molto tempo entrambe subiscono le molestie ingiustificate e gli insulti di una vicina del piano di sotto, mentre l'amministrazione del condominio non ha mai gestito adeguatamente le loro numerose lamentele. Per proteggere sua figlia, Shen Yu'an affitta il proprio appartamento a una band rock, così che la vicina possa provare in prima persona il disagio causato dal rumore.
